How we use visitor data
A plain-English summary for people using this website. This is a template summary - JJK Removals should check it against its own legal advice and keep it up to date.
What we record when you visit
- Your IP address and the approximate town it is in, worked out from the IP address.
- Your browser, device type, operating system, screen size, language and time zone.
- Which pages you open, when, and how long you stay (page address only - never what you type, and never your password or payment details).
- How you arrived (for example from a search engine) and, if you are signed in, which account the visit belongs to.
Why
To keep the website secure, to spot faults, to understand which pages help customers, and to help our team follow up on a booking. Our legal basis is legitimate interests. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising, and we do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Cookies
Only essential ones: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and protects forms. We also save an unfinished quote on your own device so you can come back to it.
How long we keep it
Visit records are deleted automatically after 90 days. Booking, payment and invoice records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your choices
You can turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser - we honour it and will not log your visit. You can ask to see or erase your data by contacting us on 07411 698 837, or from your account settings if you have one.
